Funeral services for ArBell, 78, of Winona were held at the Roberts and Sons Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, December 1 at 1 p.m. Rev. A. C. Cade officiated with burial in the St.

Johns cemetery. Mr. Bell was a retired public worker. He was a member of the St. Johns Baptist Church at Eskridge.

He died at the Golden Age Nursing Home in Greenwood on November 28. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jessie Eskridge of Winona and by one brother, Eddie Bell of Kansas City, Kansas. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. Roberts and Sons Mor- tuary was in charge.

Arthur Bell Ivory Lee Byrd Funeral services for Ivory Lee Byrd, 38, of Memphis were held at the M. J. Edwards and Sons Funeral Home in Memphis on Wednesday, November 23 at 7 p.m. with the Rev. W.

R. Jimerson and Rev. L. V. Powell officiating.

Burial was in the Sarepta Cemetery near Stewart on Thursday, November 24 at 1 p.m. Mr. Byrd, a mechanic, who was born in Shelby, died November 18 at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis. He is survived by his parents, Ben Byrd, Jr. and Mrs.

Mattie Byrd of Memphis; two sisters, Miss Causaundra Byrd and Miss Deborah Byrd, both of Memphis; two brothers, Davey Byrd and Ben Byrd III of Memphis. Roberts and Sons Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. Victor Brooks Clark Funeral services for Victor Brooks Clark, 77, were held at the Oliver Chapel at 2 p.m. Monday, December 5 with Mr. Dan Beardain officiating.

Burial was at Bethany cemetery. Mr. Clark was born in Choctaw County on May 16, 1906. He was married to the late Mamie Lou Walker. He died on December 3 at the Kilmichael Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He is survived by three sons, Kimbrough Clark and D. W. Mary Holiness Church of Kilmichael. She is survived by her husband, George Crenshaw of Kilmichael; two daughters, Mrs. Azell Lampkins of Flint, Michigan and Mrs. Pricilla Maple of Baton Rouge; four sons, George Crenshaw of Harvey, Illinois, Paul Crenshaw of Kilmichael, Willie Crenshaw and Earl Crenshaw, both of Flint, Michigan; two sisters, Mrs. Willie Mae Trotter and Mrs.

Emma Trotter, both of Chicago; five brothers, Lonnie Trotter of Chicago, Tommy Lee Trotter, Archie Lee Trotter and Robert Trotter, all of Duck Hill; and John Trotter of Winona. Drake died at Tyler Holmes Hospital on November 21. She was a housewife. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Essie C. Perry of Winona; two sons, Nicholas of Belzoni, and Mrs.

Pauline Taggart Eskridge Funeral services for Pauline Taggart Eskridge, 76, of Winona were held Thursday, December 1 at 2 p.m. at the Moore Memorial Methodist Church with the Rev.

Eskridge died November 30 at the Tyler Holmes Hospital. She was a native of Winston County and was born March 30, 1907. She was married to the late Everette Eskridge. She is survived by two sons, Lamar Eskridge and Donald Eskridge of Winona; one daughter, Mrs. Elsie Barnhill of Winona; two brothers, John D.

Taggart of Louisville, Miss. and Charlie Taggart of New Orleans. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was a member of the Moore Memorial Methodist Church of Winona. Pallbearers were Jason Eskridge, Steve Barnhill, Barry, Eskridge, Tommy Eskridge, Bob Flippen and Jim Gillis.

Oliver Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mable Odom Evans Funeral services for Mable Odom Evans, 78, a native of Montgomery County, were held at the Oliver Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 3 with burial in Oakwood cemetery. The Rev. Noland Houston officiated.

Mrs. Evans died a at the Winona Manor on December 1 after a lengthy illness. She was born on February 3, 1905. She is survived by her husband, Willie Clyde Evans of Winona; one son, J. C.

Perry of Baltimore; two stepsons, Earl Evans and Joe Evans of Winona; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Martha Wright of Mem- Mrs. Juanita Cantrell of Bessemer, Alabama. She is also survived by four grandchildren. Oliver Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Travis Johnson Funeral services for Travis Johnson, 73, of Winona were held at the Lee Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 23 with the Revs. L. C. Kitchens, Robert Ellis and Noel Hinson officiating.

Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery. Mr. Johnson died Monday, November 21 at the Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was a retired logger. He is survived by his wife, Mrs.

Ann Johnson of Winona; three sons, William Travis Johnson, Bobby Joe Johnson and James Michael Johnson, all of Winona; one daughter, Mrs. Joan Mitchell of Winona; four brothers, Wade Johnson, John W. Bill Johnson, Elmore Johnson and Fred Johnson, all of Winona; two sisters, Mrs. Landis Hodges of Winona and Mrs. Tommie Dean Evans of Jackson.
